Desiree Pinol

I'm an actor and performer living in Washington Heights, New York City. I was born in Florida but grew up in a small town outside of Raleigh, North Carolina with my family where I developed my passion for theatre and the arts.

Growing up with a Puerto Rican/Cuban background in the South has given me a deep appreciation for family, food, and culture. I love to travel, try new meals, and meet new people. But I'm also always down for some good old southern comfort food or my mom's rice and black beans.

Knowing from a young age that I belonged on the stage, I participated in community theatre all throughout childhood and into high school. It was a unique ensemble production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town that solidified my decision to pursue this art as a career. From there I studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro receiving a BFA in Acting and graduating with honors.
